Canada Disability Savings Bond
- Lower-income families may qualify for payments from the Canada Disability Savings Bond (CDSB) program without having to make a contribution to an RDSP, up to a lifetime maximum of $20,000.
- A beneficiary may be eligible to receive CDSB payments up until December 31st of the year in which they turn 49 years of age.
- The maximum annual CDSB is $1,000. This applies to families with net income below $21,947*.
- CDSB payments are prorated for families with higher incomes. This applies to net incomes greater than $21,947, but less than $39,065*.
- When the beneficiary turns 18 years of age, CDSB payments are based on their net annual income.
