Investment Objectives and Strategies

This fund's objective is to provide a high level of interest income and some opportunity for growth in the value of your investment. The fund invests primarily in bonds and debentures maturing in more than one year, issued by governments and corporations around the world and by supranational agencies such as the World Bank.

The portfolio manager applies fundamental analysis to determine an outlook for the various factors affecting bond prices around the world. This analysis is applied to try to forecast the direction of interest rates and the investment attractiveness of various countries and sectors.
