Investment Objectives and Strategies

This fund's objective is to increase the value of your investment over the long term by tracking the performance of the Standard & Poor's 500 Total Return Index (S&P 500).

The portfolio manager invests in Government of Canada treasury bills and other high-quality, short-term Canadian money market instruments, while holding options, futures and forward contracts based on the S&P 500. The portfolio manager may also invest directly in equities that comprise the S&P 500.
